Geometric Future contacted us and wanted us to look at the King Arthur ATX chassis, which we have here today. Geometric Future was created in 2020 with the slogan "Simplify." Built in a unique orientation, the King Arthur may or may not be your cup of tea.
Geometric Future has an odd naming structure and dubbed this a Model 4 but with the King Arthur name. Another model with the same dimensions (ATX 35L) and structure is called the Caliburn. The only things that are different are the colors and the front material. Pricing for the King Arthur is set at $99.99, which is very competitive in today's market. So why don't we see what the King Arthur offers?

Packaging

Geometric Future's packaging is the industry standard, brown cardboard box with a simple "O" on the side.

One of the skinny sides has all the specifications and some features.

Taking the King Arthur out of the packaging is another industry standard, with two hard foam caps protecting the top and the bottom. A clear plastic bag is also wrapped on the outside of the King Arthur to prevent any scratches that might occur.
Outside

With all the packaging removed, it shows a tempered glass side panel with a rectangle cut out. Feeling like an mATX case, the King Arthur does support a full-sized ATX motherboard and even some smaller EATX motherboards.

The front of the King Arthur shows the front I/O, which consists of a squarely shaped power button, HDD and Power LEDs, a very recessed reset button, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, separate 3.5mm microphone and headphone jacks, and a single USB 3.1 10Gbps Type-C port. On the lower half is a section of mesh to allow for fresh air intake; however, no fan mount is present.

The backside panel has ventilation holes that run across the bottom and a section on the upper left for additional ventilation. This backside panel is the top panel as well. Taking it off is tricky, but it offers a way to transform the internals to accept a top-mounted radiator.

The back of the King Arthur has the standard ATX layout with seven PCIe slot covers. A removable vertical GPU bracket is also present. Rear fan support is limited to only 120mm fans. Notice the spacing behind the PCIe slots, which have about 32mm of clearance for cable management. The upper left-hand corner features a PSU extension since the PSU is mounted in front of the King Arthur.

The bottom of the King Arthur has a very open design, which can support up to three 120mm fans, 360mm radiator, or AIO. The bottom supports are 35mm tall, which allows the fans to be mounted on the exterior if desired.
Inside

The internals of the King Arthur are interesting. CPU coolers are supported up to 164 mm in total height, with GPU support up to 405mm in length and 168 mm in width.

The top of the case has the first of two mounting locations for the PSU and the adjustable top bracket to allow for a top 240mm mounted radiator. Support for two 120mm or 140mm fans is also supported at the top.

The multi-functional bracket, pre-installed on the side, can accept a 2.5" HDD or SSD or can also be used as a GPU support in the horizontal orientation.

With the back/top panel removed, it shows the cable management side of the King Arthur. Cable cutouts are located appropriately but will be seen once a build is complete. Support for three 2.5" HDD or SSDs on brackets are mounted at various spots on the motherboard tray. 3.5" HDDs can be installed only in the top and right locations.

Final Thoughts

Building in the Geometric Future M4 King Arthur was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. For a relatively new chassis manufacturer, I am impressed with the build quality and ease of installation that Geometric Future has designed. Opting for the "Lifted Mode 2", choosing to use a vertically mounted PSU, and installing the AIO radiator on the floor, which I know is not the healthiest option for AIO's pump, but I had to do it.

Testing the Geometric Future Model 4 King Arthur easily handles the test hardware. The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X is a test CPU, a 16-core 32-threaded CPU with a TDP of 170 watts, which was run at 1.1284 vcore and ran fully stable at its default clocks of 4.5GHz. By design, temperatures for the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X got up to 93C at full load, averaging 88C, while idle temps stayed around 37C since the CPU was being cooled by the Arctic Cooling Freezer II 360mm AIO. NVIDIA's RTX 3090 FE idled at 28C; while fully loaded, the temp rose to 66C while maintaining a 1,950 MHz boost clock speed.
All testing was completed using Aida64 Engineer's System Stability Test version 6.92.6600 for 8+ hours; the ambient temperature was 21C. Other monitoring software used was HWiNFO64 v7.62-5200, TechPowerUp GPU-Z 2.55.0, and CPU-Z 2.07.0.x64.
In closing, the Geometric Design M4 King Arthur is a pretty cool little chassis. The little you spend on the King Arthur, which MSRPs for around $100, will make you feel you got a pretty sweet deal for the build quality it provides.
